Solid wood teak; limba wood.
Intent on “celebrating the child within” Danish designer Kay Bojesen has spent his career creating adorable wooden animals with moveable limbs. A member of the Bojesen family since 1951, the Teak and Limba-wood Monkey was first exhibited in the 1950s at London’s highly regarded Victoria and Albert Museum (commonly known today as The V&A). It is just one of the Danish artisan’s animal creations characterised by an inherent sense of simplicity, naturalness and clean lines. Our Replica Kay Bojesen Teak Monkey likes to hang around. Hook one of his hands over a windowsill or dangle him off a bookshelf. The only limit to where he can live is your imagination.
